Me, My adrenaline, My toys..
I am not a true blue real blogger, but in the past few months, i have been so inspired by folks older than me that i thought i would like to remember this part of my life!
We all reach that point where we work, work, work, to chase the lifestyle that we want. Sometimes it gets too much, sometimes u get betrayed. But life is just like that..you fall, just pick yourself up and run again!
Last year i bought myself a KTM bike. Yup, i like the colours and the power.. but i dont have a license ah.. I stopped 3/4way when the heavy rains of dec-feb hit. Then came the other factors, mainly work, of trying to work out the feasibility of a new business, a change of lifestyle cos we sold our place and have to lodge intermittently at the in-laws, that the bike lessons were put to the back of my mind.
KTM, aka Kenji
Scott, learning to bond with him offroad! so far, its been great!
As fate would have it, facebook led to the meeting of an old activity buddy, someone i used to blade with in the younger years, and he invited me to go cycling with his bunch of friends. Lo and behold, i met other old friends there! 1 chap was someone who was rollerblading talents with me when coke launched their contour bottle in singapore. He and his wife are avid bikers and i have since passed my KTM Bike(aka Kenji) to his wife for her training for a charity trip in Africa. http://rosandseungadventures.blogspot.com/
Their lifestyle have led me to think about the smaller and more meaningful things in life. This is one couple who enjoys life and do not do the paperchase thing. hmmm. It has so inspired me that i will be re-starting my bike lessons, from today! Hopefully i will be road legal by year end!
In the meantime, it will be offroad mountainbiking for me, such an adrenaline rush!
Peace will be going on her first offroad malaysian trip later this month, with her other suzy friends. Fingers crossed that she comes home intact!
my wonderful hubby & peace in the background!
Life coming full circle? hmmm, its more like the adrenaline junkie in me was suppressed for the last 10 years!
